Drupal PHP Firewall

This module for Drupal automatically blocks IPs trying exploits to your server.
It blocks using PHP, at an early stage of Drupal loading, so it saves a lot of CPU and resources from bad requests.

This module is created by Carles Mateo with more than 20 years of experience protecting sites from typical attacks and vulnerability scans that make the server go slow and crash.

The best Firewall is at your provider's level, so before reaching your server. After this, the best is to block the connections with ufw or iptables in your server at Linux level. But this requires dedicated System Administrators analysing the logs and root access.

After these, blocking at PHP level is the fastest and safest option.

This module checks the connections that arrive to the server, detects the abusive patterns and blocks the offending IPs automatically. So easily, without you doing anything, will be protected from abusive connections from IP addresses in the Internet.

You can also add your rules to block certain patterns and you can block individual IPs and IP ranges.

It is a very easy to use plugin, made for non technical people experiencing problems because the avalanche of rogue connections causing problems to the server performance or generating expenses in Internet traffic.

The module also allows you to export the offending IP addresses as a CSV file or as a shell script that will add to Ubuntu firewall the IPs for greater performance.

You can import/export the offending IP addresses to other Drupal or WordPress sites (running the WordPress plugin).
